Reporting a billing mistake:

Mistakes can happen. We work quickly to solve any billing issues you have

However before submitting your issue, double check the following:

If you are reporting a double billing:

    • check your previous months credit card statement to make sure you were billed in that month. Sometimes if your card is unable to be billed, you may see two billings in the current month. This can occur when your card was not accepting the charge (over the credit limit, etc.) and our system was not able to bill you on your normal due date.
    • Also check to make sure that the entry is a charge and not a credit. It can sometimes be hard to tell the difference. Depending on your credit card issuer, credits may be at the top of your bill, listed in parenthesis or have a minus sign at the front of the charge amount.

If you cancelled an account but believe your are still being charged :

    • Make sure you cancelled before your recurring date. Our service is billed on a month to month basis and can be cancelled at anytime. However you must cancel before your monthly billing date to avoid a charge for that month. For example, if you are billed on the 10th of every month and cancelled on the 18th, you would still have a charge on your account for the 10th. That charge would be the final charge to your account.

    • Make sure you have no other open phpwebhosting.com accounts. This is especially true if you are a designer or re-seller. Make sure that you have no other sites being billed to your credit card number.
